Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every order placed through this site. They're written to be read — short, plain, and honest. By placing an order you agree to them.

Who we are

This site is operated by [Business name], trading as Sayabi, of [registered address]. You can reach us at orders@example.com. The details in square brackets and the email address are placeholders — they must be replaced with the real business details before launch.

Everything is printed to order

Every Saya is UV-printed and finished after you order it — we don't hold finished stock. The shell is durable ABS; the design is built up in textured, UV-cured ink. Minor surface variation from one print to the next is inherent to the process and isn't a defect. Each piece is checked by hand before dispatch.

Placing an order, and when a contract is formed

Checkout is handled by Stripe. Your order is confirmed when your payment succeeds, and you'll receive a confirmation email. That email acknowledges your order; the legally binding contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order.

We may decline or cancel an order at any point before dispatch — for example where there has been an obvious pricing error, where we cannot print the artwork supplied, or where payment cannot be verified. If we do, we'll tell you and refund you in full without delay.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). [VAT placeholder — state either "All prices include VAT at the current UK rate" or "We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged", as applicable.] The price payable is the price shown at checkout when you place your order.

Payment is taken at the time of ordering via Stripe Checkout, which is hosted by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers — we never see your full card number.

Dispatch and delivery

Because every Saya is made to order, dispatch is 3–5 business days from purchase. We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only. Any delivery dates given are estimates, not guarantees, though we'll let you know if anything material changes. The goods are your responsibility from the moment they're delivered to the address you gave us.

Custom orders and your artwork

When you upload a logo, monogram, or initials for a custom Saya, you confirm that:

We may refuse any custom order at our discretion — including artwork we believe infringes someone else's rights or that we're not willing to print — and if we refuse, we'll refund you in full. Please check spelling, initials, and orientation carefully before submitting: we print exactly what you approve.

Cancellations, returns, and faulty goods

Standard designs can be returned within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Custom Sayas are personalised goods and are exempt from that right, unless faulty. Full details, including how to start a return, are in our Returns & Refunds policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Our liability

Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We're not responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost trade.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under your statutory rights as a consumer.

Events beyond our control

We're not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control — courier disruption, materials shortages, power or equipment failure, and the like. If a delay becomes significant, we'll tell you, and you may cancel the affected order for a full refund.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published when you place your order is the version that applies to it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

This page is a template and not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified solicitor before launch.
